Your 45-minute Confident Reader Kick-Off call with Melanie is on Zoom. After payment, you’ll get a link to book a time that works for you on my calendar. You will automatically be emailed a Zoom link, and future reminder emails for the call. Join at your chosen time, and I will meet you on Zoom.
How does payment work?
Payment is online via Stripe, a highly reputable online payment platform.
Do you give refunds?
Do to the nature of LIVE coaching and next steps provided to increase your child’s confidence as a reader, no refunds will be given after your Confident Reader Kick-Off call is completed.
How do I know this will work for my child and I?
Your child has strengths upon which we will build to increase his/her confidence as a reader. During my 10+ years of classroom experience as a reading and writing teacher for kids ages 4-8, I have seen kids progress as readers, regardless of current reading ability.
What tech do we need?
You need a laptop or Ipad.
My child is nervous. Will this work?
A: It’s just me, Melanie! I am friendly and approachable. I’ve taught Kindergarten through 3rd grade for 10+ years. I’ll give your child a warm welcome and provide quick, 30-second movement breaks if needed (run/hop/march on the spot).
What if I need to reschedule?
A: I understand that you are a busy mom, and life happens. Kids get sick, you get sick, the unexpected occurs. Please make your best effort to meet at your chosen time. Send me an email as soon as you can if you must reschedule.
Does my child need to attend?
You will begin the Confident Reader Kick-Off call by sharing reading concerns and goals you have for your child. I will invite your child to complete a kid-friendly phonics assessment with me. Then, I will share next steps for phonics lessons and reading support that makes sense for your child.
