Homeschool Kindergarten reading curriculums have always been phonics-based. At some point, you just need to choose the curriculum that looks the best suited for you and your little reader, and start. With basic knowledge of simple phonics skills, moms can get their Kindergarten children started as readers.

Phonics routines are important for homeschool moms. Kids thrive on routine. When you and your child are familiar with a lesson routine, you’ll both know what to expect. Your child knows the end is coming, and this will engage her to complete each phonics skill. Then, there should be a quick break, as homeschool phonics lessons require cognitive stamina on the part of your child.

If you’re wondering more about homeschooling your child, you can find out more about Leigh on her website: Little by Little Homeschool.
